Pin, pin, pinning!

My poor blog. So neglected. I blame pinterest :) No.. I should say I have just been busy and my MacBook is giving me issues with my photos. ( Going in for fixing on friday) I do have many photos to post of Halloween, kids birthdays, Aquarium trip, Seattle trip and fun fall projects. I will do one big 2 month post and I will get caught up. So in the mean time I've been getting inspired via pinterest-mylittleowls and wow are there some great ideas! 


Since I always put up my decorations December 1st I thought today would be a great day to share some of my favourite projects:

Homemade Snowglobes from martha stewart. Can't wait to use up all my baby food and jam jars. Olivia will have fun with these...thinking of making a great display in her bedroom. 

How could I not make these? Felt mouse with a candy cane tail! If you don't have felt try cardstock paper in different patterns and colours. Hang on the kid tree or make garland with them.  Also from martha stewart

Have I told you how much I love felt and a hot glue gun? These sweet trees are going to cover my mantel this year. I plan on doing all white and cream...with touches of lace and vintage fabric. Also the bells and buttons are so darling. Off to the MCC to see what I can find to cut up :) First saw this photo on pinterest but found the link to make them.

Bubblegum, Bubblegum in a dish....

A Bubblegum Party is what we wish!!!
Last year I had Olivia's party 2 weeks early (I was pregnant)  I'm glad I did because Gavin was born 3 days before Olivia's birthday. Now this year we are moving Sept 29th so I decided to have the party 2 weeks early again..crazy yes but I couldn't miss the party! I had so much fun with this party. I wanted to do a neutral theme because my kids are only 3 days apart and heck they don't care...Olivia was just excited to finally eat a gumball. The lovely Michele took some pictures for me and I am glad she did because I seriously took zero! There was way to many to choose from and I love how all my details are captured.

Another party in the books! Thanks to all my wonderful friends and family who came out to celebrate O & G! They are so loved :) Now time to enjoy all the other parties.

ELEVEN

I am so behind on my postings.....my life has been in a whirlwind this last week. I'll explain more in other posts. BUT for now here is my baby. Gavin. He was 11 months on the 1st. I seriously can't believe it. He is my heart. my soul. my love. Gavin you are the sweetest boy with the biggest smile. I never thought I would ever have a boy or as my sister says "I'm not into boys" but I am so thankful everyday that I had a boy. The bond I have with him. no words for it. Mama just loves to kiss and cuddle this darling.

Side note...we sold the house we are living in. Moving in 3 weeks to our other house that is still on the market. Kids party is going to be in 2 weeks. Starting work TONIGHT. Starting to get our new lot ready for building! WOW and this all happened so fast...trying to enjoy this new adventure!
