End of summer-end of my twenties..

Tomorrow is the big day. 30. ah. I will be 30 tomorrow. It is kinda scary and I always thought 30 was sooo old. Maybe it will take a few days to set in but I can't complain. I am very blessed. I have a lovely family, beautiful friends and sweet kids. I see 30 as being a great year. starting my business and raising my kids. I think things couldn't be better. but still 30 freaks me out. 

Tomorrow starts a new chapter for me and as well for Olivia. She is starting pre-school. I will miss having my sidekick with me but I know pre-school will be great for her little mind. She needs to branch out. As her mama I'm willing to let her go and grow. Plus my two great friends have their kids going to the same pre-school. How perfect is that? Olivia says her boyfriend and her best friend are going to pre-school with her. how cute. 

Here are some photos that I haven't been able to share as our summer has been full of fun. Day trips to the beach, Vancouver, Birch Bay, the fairs with friends and of course backyard playtime, tea parties and baking. Hopefully everyone else had a wonderful summer! Now I'm ready for fall, birthdays, cozy sweaters, boots and can't forget pumpkin spice lattes ;) xo

confetti & sparkle party shop is in the works! yay! I couldn't be more excited. The graphics and website is under way but for now my facebook page is up and I am posting products and information on that. Since I have had an overwhelming response of love in the first 4 days I am doing a giveaway! The prizes will be a bag of jumbo paper straws (orange) these are great for smoothies or milkshakes. My daughter used one this morning in her smoothie and she loved it! The second prize is a bag of cocktail paper straws (lime green) these are shorter straws that work in mason jars and in kids drinks. vintage pastel bridal shower

My little sister is getting married in less than 2 weeks and we wanted to throw the perfect shower for her. A bit of vintage meets pastel meets the farm... throw in some giant balloons and fabric garland and you have one fun afternoon. It poured rain the day before and a bit in the morning but the sun broke through the clouds so we could have this:

Planning this party and well most of my parties has inspired me to open my own PARTY supply shop!!! I must have drove to 6 different stores that week trying to find the perfect decor for this party. I could find anything!! So online I went and yes I did find the balloons but I was worried about shipping and if they would even arrive in time for the party. (I had them shipped to the states, waited in the line up for 25 mins with both kids and thought there has to be something better) So friends and family I will be starting a party supply shop very soon... a one stop shop for all your trendy party decor. :) This is a quote I just read today "Stop dreaming and start doing" well folks will start doing.  So much exciting things to come and I know I will have all your support! xoxo
