Pin, pin, pinning!

My poor blog. So neglected. I blame pinterest :) No.. I should say I have just been busy and my MacBook is giving me issues with my photos. ( Going in for fixing on friday) I do have many photos to post of Halloween, kids birthdays, Aquarium trip, Seattle trip and fun fall projects. I will do one big 2 month post and I will get caught up. So in the mean time I've been getting inspired via pinterest-mylittleowls and wow are there some great ideas! 


Since I always put up my decorations December 1st I thought today would be a great day to share some of my favourite projects:

Homemade Snowglobes from martha stewart. Can't wait to use up all my baby food and jam jars. Olivia will have fun with these...thinking of making a great display in her bedroom. 

How could I not make these? Felt mouse with a candy cane tail! If you don't have felt try cardstock paper in different patterns and colours. Hang on the kid tree or make garland with them.  Also from martha stewart

Have I told you how much I love felt and a hot glue gun? These sweet trees are going to cover my mantel this year. I plan on doing all white and cream...with touches of lace and vintage fabric. Also the bells and buttons are so darling. Off to the MCC to see what I can find to cut up :) First saw this photo on pinterest but found the link to make them.
